MATERIAL

COMPLITE®

Complite® is a compressed laminated wood with two to three times the strength of the usual wood material. It is made by applying resin to layers of thin sheets of wood and compressing them under high temperature and pressure. With this process it is possible to create a material that is easy to produce yet strong and with low water absorption. Uses range from material for industrial components to common products such as door handles and chopsticks. Combined with acrylics the potential use cases are limitless. Its garnering attention as an alternative to natural wood.
